We invite you to stories that really happen.

Not on posters. Not in reports. Only in workshop halls, in neighborhoods, in the mountains, and at tables where people simply start talking to each other. Over the past 10 years, we've learned one thing: change doesn't start with big slogans. It starts with presence. With someone showing up regularly, listening, and staying.

What does your support translate into in practice?

In Świdnica, it all started in the backyards. With conversations with children, parents, and neighbors. With activities that weren't just "events," but rather a constant presence. Over time, these activities began to develop, with an increasingly strong focus on young people. Today, we can say one thing: we are growing together, our projects, and young Świdnica. We are learning from each other, responding to real needs, and creating spaces where young people can act, discuss, and participate in decision-making. This year is special for us in Świdnica—it's the year of youth. A time of intensive work on youth policy and strengthening the voices of young people.

In Wrocław, the starting point is the neighborhood. We meet in the welcoming atmosphere of CAL Plac Grunwaldzki OD NOWA. This is a place open to all kinds of people and stories. For children, adults, seniors, both men and women. For those who have lived here for years and those who have just arrived.

We work with the diverse community of Grunwaldzki Square. We talk. We meet. We collaborate. We build a community archive, collecting stories, photos, and memories from neighbors. At the same time, we implement cultural activities that help us better understand the place where we live and the people with whom we share it. This year, this area of our activities will expand. We will begin operating in two locations. A center for all children will be created – a place where children from the area can come together, learn, create, and simply feel safe.

One of the most moving areas of our work is respite tourism. Families of people with disabilities often tell us directly, "We can't remember the last time we had a break." We create accessible mountain trips for people with disabilities and their loved ones—trips that truly offer respite. For many participants, this is their first trip in years. We offer comprehensive services: from route planning, through accessibility, to support for entire families. Now we're going a step further—building networks, sharing knowledge, and developing solutions that can also work in other regions.

Why are we writing about this in the context of 1.5%?

Crises, fatigue, and social tensions make social animation and educational activities more necessary than ever. They strengthen local networks, teach cooperation, build trust, and help people not face problems alone. We have been building such networks for 10 years – and we want to continue doing so.

All of these activities require time, teamwork, planning, and continuity. NGOs operate thanks to the collaboration of many people – and thanks to stable support.

1.5% in tax means something very tangible for us. It's the next few months of working with children, not a one-time event. It's the opportunity to plan our next respite trip. It's time for the team to do their job well instead of putting out fires.
