This year marks the launch of another project, supported by the National Reconstruction Plan. "Plac Grunwaldzki: Archive of Everyday Life" is a continuation of the work surrounding the Neighborhood Archive and another step in discovering the local identity of our neighborhood. It also provides funding for an external assessment of the cultural needs of our neighborhood's local community and a series of new event formats that we will test with you – including ecological sound walks around Grunwald.

The project will run until the end of February 2026 and will include 12 events – sound walks, workshops, lectures, and meetings, as well as the publication of an artistic zine. The program will include walks exploring the audio sphere of nature, a meeting around old address books, a walk in the footsteps of Professor Jan Mikulicz-Radecki, and discussions about everyday academic life at Grunwald.

In parallel, we will conduct an in-depth assessment of the cultural needs of the local community – through research walks, backyard activities, surveys, and interviews. The result will be a report available online in February of next year. Additionally, we will translate some of our website content into English, opening up to broader collaboration and new audiences.

The project strengthens local identity and neighborhood ties, allows for a better understanding of our surroundings and everyday life, and creates new formats for cultural activities. It also provides an opportunity to collaborate with Wrocław's artistic and creative scene. For the Ładne Historie Foundation, it is a chance to develop a community archive and develop tools that will help it better respond to community needs in the future.

The project is co-financed by the European Union under the European Recovery and Resilience Facility (NextGenerationEU) as part of the National Recovery Plan. #KPOdlaKultury
