We've just completed another Święto Osiedla Plac Grunwaldzki, which we organized for you for the fifth time as part of the Nasz Grunwald partnership. Each new edition brings us immense joy in meeting you – workshops, walks, a neighborhood picnic, and other attractions. Without you, the residents of the estate, this initiative wouldn't be what it is! This year, over 300 people participated and joined us in celebrating Grunwald.

Święto Osiedla Plac Grunwaldzki was created out of a heartfelt need – during the pandemic restrictions, we heard from you more than once that you missed spending time together, talking, and pursuing your interests. At that time, using existing offerings was difficult due to safety concerns, and many initiatives you knew and loved simply ceased to operate. We had to come up with something that would allow the local community to once again gather as neighbors and simply chat.

The neighborhood celebration quickly became a permanent fixture in the Grunwald calendar, with new individuals, institutions, and companies joining in subsequent editions. From the very beginning, the University of Wrocław has hosted the neighborhood picnic, providing free space on the Grunwald Campus meadow – one of the few green spaces within Grunwald Square. University of Wrocław, Wrocław Social Cooperative, Brother Albert's Aid Society – Wrocław Circle,  Municipal Social Welfare Center in Wrocław, Grunwaldzki Passage i Municipal Public Library in Wrocław From the very first edition, it has enabled us to organize neighborhood events based on shared resources, and the meadow has become a place for summer meetings.

Dear neighbors, thank you for your active participation in the activities and entertainment, and for the warm moments spent at the community table. We are delighted that we could create such a special event together. We hope that new friendships were made and that the picnic helped strengthen the bonds in our community.
