In connection with the "Future Written by Family" project, we are seeking a community animator. This project is for families who have experienced difficult family situations, primarily financial ones, for generations. We want these families to begin to cope better with life and be able to give their children a better future.

Position: community animator/animator within the project "The future is written by family"„
- Form of employment and working hours: as part of the recruitment process, we will select one person who will be employed on the basis of a 1/2-time employment contract
- Place of work: in Świdnica, stationary and in the field during outdoor activities
- Period of cooperation: 01/06/2025 – 30/11/2026
- Salary: 4500 PLN gross
Requirements:
- Minimum secondary education, higher education in pedagogy, cultural animation, resocialization is welcome
- at least 5 years of professional experience in implementing projects addressed to people at risk of social exclusion
- computer operation

Scope of responsibilities
- Conducting family circle meetings
Your role will be to organize and co-lead family circle meetings—intimate, informal gatherings of families participating in the project and their neighbors. These meetings will take place in a friendly atmosphere, over shared breakfasts or afternoon snacks, and will be tailored to the needs of the participants.
The meetings aim to:
- building relationships between families and neighbors,
- joint conversations and sharing experiences,
- encouraging mutual assistance and joint actions for the benefit of the environment,
- developing social, communication and decision-making skills.
The meetings will be held 2 times a month for 4 hours, over a period of 20 months. Some of these sessions will be thematic in nature – topics will be selected jointly by the participants. You will ensure a positive atmosphere, maintain a structured conversation, and initiate topics important to the group. You will collaborate with a specialist in community work.
- Organization of animation activities and social events
You will be responsible for creating and leading a variety of community-based activities in public spaces aimed at integrating and activating the neighborhood. These include:
- neighborhood picnics, neighborhood Saturdays and joint activities (e.g. cleaning, planting greenery, ecological workshops),
- cultural events and thematic walks, taking place, among others, in backyards and green areas,
- meetings and conversations with residents (streetworking, individual and group interviews) to learn about their needs and ideas,
- animating joint outings for city events – cultural, sports, social,
- informing residents about available city programs and initiatives, public consultations and local activities.
