Świdnica for volunteering

Fundacja Ładne Historie, together with the Świdnica Volunteer Centre, the Świdnica Youth Council, the Świdnica University of the Third Age and the Mam Pomysł Foundation, is launching a three-year program called "Świdnica for Volunteering"!

We will support non-governmental organizations, institutions and schools operating in the district and city of Świdnica in developing systematic volunteering.

As part of the program, we have planned:

  • free training and mentoring;
  • integration activities and support for grassroots initiatives;
  • psychological counseling for individuals and volunteer groups;
  • Świdnica Volunteer Fair;
  • implementation of campaigns promoting volunteering;
  • establishing a local coalition for silver volunteering in culture.

Fundacja Ładne Historie, in cooperation with the Świdnica Volunteer Centre, is launching a group supervision package for volunteer teams and coordinators, as well as psychological counseling for volunteers at risk of activist burnout.

Through these activities, the Świdnica Volunteer Center will be able to more effectively support volunteers, ensuring their mental and professional well-being. Group supervision sessions for volunteer teams and volunteer coordinators build community and enhance the personal development of volunteers. Participating in supervision sessions provides an opportunity for a free exchange of experiences – participants have the opportunity to share both their challenges and successes. Collaborative conversations allow for learning from others' experiences and the development of diverse perspectives. By sharing challenges, volunteers can gain valuable tips and strategies to help them avoid future challenges. Supervision sessions foster strong bonds between volunteers, and the stories of others can inspire them to take on new challenges and engage in diverse projects.

Priority for support will be given to people registered in the Volunteer Service System on the website sow.korpussolidarnosci.gov.pl.
