During our outdoor activities, children and young people have the opportunity to express themselves, learn to discuss, listen, and share their experiences, while also fantasizing, creating, constructing, designing, drawing, dancing, and playing their favorite outdoor games. Thanks to creative activities, their attention is focused on action, collaboration, creation, movement, and interaction, rather than on phone screens and scrolling through social media.
The yard is regaining its former function as a space for meetings, conversations, play, activities, the exchange of loving gestures, and the nurturing and expression of children's imaginations. This applies not only to the children themselves but also to their parents, grandparents, and neighbors, who are also present during our activities.
During the ten weeks of summer holidays, artistic, creative and physical activities take place almost every day in one of the Świdnica courtyards, enriched with activities such as the Intergenerational Backyard Theatre and sign language lessons for children.
