On Saturday, June 13th, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Wrocław's Market Square will transform into the city's largest outdoor health zone. During the 17th Days of Health Promotion, residents will be able to use over 40 stations prepared by public institutions, social organizations, universities, medical facilities, and health experts.

 

All activities are free and available without prior registration.

Preventive examinations and medical consultations

 

Many stands will be dedicated to preventive health care and the possibility of performing basic tests and consultations.

 

The FutureMeds Medical Center's dermatobus will be available in the Market Square, offering skin lesion examinations. The Ginemedica Clinic and Medix Medical Center have also planned dermatoscopic examinations.

 

The Trialmed Osteobus will enable bone density testing, and the Men's Forum Foundation will conduct free PSA and testosterone tests for men.

 

The Audika Hearing Center will prepare activities related to hearing health prevention, including otoscopic examinations and consultations with a hearing care professional.

 

In their positions, specialists will also educate on the prevention of heart disease, diabetes, cancer, circulatory system diseases and a healthy lifestyle.

The health of women, families and children

 

A large part of the program was prepared by entities working with families on a daily basis.

 

The University Clinical Hospital will invite visitors to specialized areas dedicated to newborn care, women's health, and child nutrition. Visitors will have the opportunity to talk with midwives, a neonatologist, a psychologist, and a physiotherapist.

 

The Wrocław Health Centre will present municipal health programs, the Wrocław Birthing School, and preventive activities implemented for the residents of Wrocław.

 

At the stands of the Augustyn Family Academy, the Closeness Foundation, the Promyk Słońca Foundation and family counselling centres, you will be able to obtain information and support on raising children, family relationships and mental health.

 

The Wrocław Nursery Complex will prepare an information point for parents and activities for the youngest participants of the event.

Mental health and social support

 

Organizations dealing with mental health, violence prevention and supporting people in crisis will also be present at the event.

 

Participants include the Non Licet Foundation, the Care and Troska Foundation, Era Psyche, the Municipal Social Welfare Center, the Municipal Social Services Center, and partners of the #HejtOver campaign.

 

You will be able to talk to specialists, learn about available forms of support, and find out where to seek help for yourself or your loved ones.

 

Addiction prevention

 

The program also includes activities related to addiction prevention and a healthy lifestyle.

 

The following organizations will prepare their positions: MONAR, the Salida Foundation, the Odnowa Club for the Promotion of Abstinence and Sobriety, the Starówka Abstinents Association, the MOST Association, and the Commission for Solving Alcohol-Related Problems.

 

 

First aid, rescue and everyday health

 

The Medical University of Wrocław will invite residents to learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation using mannequins and an AED, as well as to take blood pressure measurements and talk about health and the courage to take care of yourself.

 

The Emergency Medical Service will present an ambulance and rescue equipment, and paramedics will demonstrate the basic principles of first aid.

 

At the National Health Fund stand, you will be able to have your body composition analyzed, obtain a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), set up the MojeIKP application, and learn more about preventive programs implemented in Poland.

 

Health, activity and daily habits

 

The partners will also include breathing trainer Agnieszka Kupis, the Lower Silesian Foundation for the Development of Cardiac Rehabilitation REHKARD.PL, the Polish Diabetes Association, the Diabetes and Company Foundation, Creator, the City Farm, and the polskiedzieci.org Foundation.

 

Participants will be able to talk about healthy habits, physical activity, rehabilitation, nutrition, and everyday ways to take care of their health.

Not only health – also education and accessibility

 

The Municipal Public Library will also be present during the event, preparing games and activities related to books and reading, and the Support and Testing Center, presenting solutions supporting people with disabilities, including magnifiers, color readers, and Braille devices.

 

Throughout the day, the Market Square will also feature a children's zone, a main stage with expert talks, and an event information point.

We invite you to visit our partners' stands, perform tests, talk to specialists, and take advantage of the extensive offer prepared especially for the residents of Wrocław.

 


 

We ensure the event is accessible to people with special needs. We provide on-site translations into Polish Sign Language (PJM) and can also provide assistance from an assistant. If you have any accessibility needs, please contact us by email (placgrunwaldzki@ladnehistorie.pl) until June 10, 2026.

 

The event takes place in an accessible space in the Wrocław Market Square, located close to public transport stops (stops: Rynek, Świdnicka and Szewska), and the full timetable is available on the website MPK Wrocław.

 

The offer at individual stations is available first to mothers with children and/or pregnant women, seniors, as well as people with special needs, including people with disabilities.
