This year's "Wrocław Health Promotion Days" once again demonstrated the enormous importance of preventative measures implemented in spaces accessible to every resident of the city. The event, held on September 13, 2025, in front of Magnolia Park, brought together partners, specialists, volunteers, and hundreds of people who came to take care of their own health and the health of their loved ones.
The campaign was implemented under the slogan "More Health, More Life" and included educational, diagnostic, preventative, and physical activity promotion activities. It was the combination of expert knowledge, free access to testing, and a friendly, open atmosphere that made the event a true celebration of health. From early morning, the area in front of the shopping center was bustling with activity – participants could take advantage of specialist consultations, screenings, demonstrations, workshops, and recreational activities. It was crucial for us that everyone – regardless of age, ability, or experience – could find something for themselves and feel that health is something worth caring for together.

The WDPZ 2025 program was created through extensive cross-sectoral collaboration, encompassing public institutions, non-governmental organizations, and businesses. Over 40 partners participated in the open call, preparing a wide range of tests, advice, and consultations conducted by qualified specialists. Participants could take advantage of services such as blood pressure measurements, glucose testing, and body composition analyses, as well as speak with dietitians, physiotherapists, psychologists, health educators, and physicians representing various fields. Activities related to the prevention of lifestyle diseases, mental health consultations, and educational talks on addiction and its prevention also generated significant interest. The event provided a space where reliable knowledge was presented in an accessible manner, allowing participants to ask questions, clarify doubts, and receive support tailored to their needs. Thanks to the presence of Polish Sign Language interpreters, the educational events and the offerings at the various partner booths were also accessible to Deaf individuals.

One of the focal points of the event was the main stage program, which enriched WDPZ 2025 with inspiring talks, lectures, and demonstrations led by experts from Wrocław universities, city institutions, and healthcare organizations. Topics covered included the mental health of children and adolescents, metabolic diseases, kidney disease prevention, vaccinations, and everyday habits that impact well-being. The "Sweet, but with a Head" cooking demonstration, which demonstrated that healthy cooking can be simple, delicious, and accessible, drew particular attention. Discussions also included discussions about the "We Keep the Pressure" campaign, the prevention of lifestyle diseases, and the role of education and community support in building healthy habits in children. The stage program—fully aligned with the program and coordinated with partners—was designed to provide every attendee with practical knowledge and a sense of empowerment in taking care of their health.

The Wrocław Health Promotion Days 2025 proved to be an event that not only provided residents with a range of free tests and consultations but also created a space for meeting, conversation, and sharing experiences. The atmosphere was full of attentiveness, kindness, and openness – many people emphasized that this made it easier for them to decide on tests, talk to a specialist, or ask about things that previously seemed difficult or embarrassing. The event also provided an opportunity to bring together local institutions and communities – partners expressed their willingness to participate in subsequent editions, and residents expressed the need to continue similar activities in the future. We completed all planned elements: partner recruitment, promotional activities, infrastructure preparation, stage program, testing and consultation offerings, and a summary and evaluation. As a result, we can confidently say that the event was conducted reliably, in line with its objectives, while also providing real social value in terms of knowledge, support, and motivation for health care.
