We invite you to a three-day, free training on the accessibility of tourist offers for people with disabilities, which will take place from 23/10/2023 to 25/10/2023 at the Lower Silesian Film Centre in Wrocław, at 64a Marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego Street.

Accessible tourism is not just about infrastructure, but above all, the availability of services. People with various disabilities are increasingly choosing mountain tourism as a form of leisure activity. Participants will gain knowledge on how to design tourism experiences and provide services to people with visual, hearing, mobility, and intellectual disabilities, as well as caregivers with children, obese individuals, people of short stature, and those with sensory and motor impairments.
The training will be conducted by trainers from Imago Foundation, Katarynka Foundation and Ładne Historie Foundation, including people with disabilities. The training is primarily practical, but also includes essential legal aspects. A detailed program can be found below.

1. The legal and substantive scope regulating accessibility issues – obligatory and optional activities, definition of accessibility, who is a person with special needs and who is a person with a disability);
2. Accessible tourism – definition, current solutions and good practices - 12:00 – 13:00 Imago Foundation
Workshops (with the participation of experts through experience):- A person with special needs in the mountains. Perspective – opportunities, expectations, barriers, and support:
a) The perspective of people with intellectual disabilities;
b) The perspective of people with mobility disabilities;
c) The perspective of people with hearing disabilities;
