Attention! We have a contest for you! Create a Youth Year Poster in Świdnica!
Do you have an idea, enjoy drawing, designing, or experimenting with graphics? Enter the "Youth of the Year in Świdnica" competition and show your perspective on youth, the needs of young people, and their place in our city!
We invite students from Świdnica's primary schools (grades 6-8) and secondary schools to create their own poster that promotes or interprets the slogan "Youth Year Poster in Świdnica." Ideas, creativity, and a unique perspective are key!
How to enter the competition?
- Who is it for? Students in grades 6-8 of primary schools, as well as secondary school students from Świdnica.
- Technique: any – drawing, painting, collage or computer graphics.
- Format: A4 to A2. Works must be flat.
- Deadline: November 22, 3:00 p.m.
- Place of submission of works: Świdnica Cultural Centre – Bolko Club, 11 Grunwaldzki Square in Świdnica.
The work must be created independently, without any AI-generated or assisted design tools. For computer graphics, please include three screenshots documenting various stages of the project's development.
Attractive prizes await the winners in both age categories – but that's not all, as selected works will be presented at an exhibition, allowing you to showcase your work to a wider audience!
Want to develop your skills? Take part in workshops!
We invite people interested in creating posters to participate in workshops led by three artists associated with the Wrocław graphic design scene:
- 04/10/2026 | Kamil Lach "Zgonowicz"„ – Illustrator and graphic designer, graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław and co-founder of Odra Studio. He combines expressive drawing with inspiration from street culture, creating posters, illustrations, and murals.
- 10/11/2026 | Ewa Głowacka – Graphic designer, visual artist, and educator. She creates posters, illustrations, and visual identities, experimenting with traditional and digital techniques. She has experience leading graphic design workshops.
- 18/10/2026 | Jakub Zasada – graphic designer, poster designer, and visual artist from Wrocław. Author of hundreds of posters for independent films, concerts, and cultural events. His work is distinguished by its vibrant colors, distinctive lines, humor, and grotesque style.
