Open Educational Workshop is a program addressed to primary schools in the municipalities of the Wrocław Agglomeration, under which workshops will be carried out based on original educational materials on children's rights developed specifically for this activity throughout 2023.

By conducting workshops for grades 6-7, we will explore the crucial issue of children's rights and their enforcement together with the participants. With the help of experienced educators Magdalena Kreis and Natalia Romaszkan / do dizajnu, we have created a concept and educational materials that will serve as a guide for visiting educators. Additionally, teachers will be able to use the educational materials during individual work with children after the project concludes.
Each school can have one class participate in the project, with which we work during three meetings – together we look at issues such as: the right to respect and personal dignity, the right to speak and express one's own opinion, the right to live without violence, to a sense of security and personal integrity, and the right to express emotions.

We consider issues related to children's rights to be particularly important as a complement to the school curriculum. We believe that school can be a space for building a safe atmosphere of mutual trust, conducive to learning and play at the same time.
The aim of the project is to foster interpersonal development in young people by enabling them to develop social skills such as conflict resolution, independence, goal setting, coping with difficult situations, recognizing their own potential, dealing with negative emotions, communicating with others, expressing their needs, taking responsibility for their surroundings, and understanding the principles of social life.

The project was prepared by the Ładne Historie Foundation at the invitation of the Wrocław Agglomeration.
