How do social campaigns work? Are Wrocław's proposals for the Citizens' Budget (WBO) promoted in the same way? Is it worth shocking your audience? Do photos of kittens and children's drawings best convert into votes? What media and media are leaders in the Wrocław Participatory Budget choosing to convince people to support their project? We will explore all of these issues at the upcoming workshop as part of the "Citizens' Workshop – Green Plac Grunwaldzki OD NOWA" project.
We began work on the Wrocław Participatory Budget 2023 at the end of 2021, opening recruitment for a working group dedicated to green projects in the Plac Grunwaldzki housing estate. Since then, we have held nearly 30 workshops, resource meetings, and working sessions. You can read more about our activities to date here. HERE.

We invite everyone involved with the Plac Grunwaldzki housing estate – community leaders, representatives of community committees, and activists who embrace the idea of a green Grunwald – to the workshop "Review and Analysis of Social Campaigns and WBOs." This is the first meeting in the second phase of the project, which will be dedicated to creating a social campaign for the WBO projects submitted this year at Grunwaldzki Square.
The meeting will take place on February 15, 2023 (5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.) at the Plac Grunwaldzki OD NOWA Center (ul. Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie 63a, 1st floor, premises in the courtyard).
Registration for the meeting is required via the form available at this link: bit.ly/WBOkampanieZAPISY. Participation is free, and the meeting will be conducted in Polish.

What is the purpose of the meeting? As a working group, we will analyze selected WBO campaigns to date and social campaigns that have resonated with audiences. We will do this using tools such as a dedicated canvas and matrix. We will organize the collected qualitative and quantitative data into an accessible format so that it can be used for further work as we build a social campaign strategy for our proposal for WBO 2023.
The workshops will be led by Marcin Rosiński – designer, graphic designer, substantive supervisor of the „Citizen Workshop – Zielony Plac Grunwaldzki OD NOWA”.
„Civic Workshop – Green Plac Grunwaldzki OD NOWA” is a project financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway from the EEA Grants under the Active Citizens Programme – Regional Fund.
