The Open Educational Workshop is a program implemented in cooperation with the Association of Municipalities of the Wrocław Agglomeration, within which we conducted workshops based on original educational materials developed specifically for this activity.
Since March, we have had the opportunity to conduct 45 workshops on children's rights with sixth and seventh grade students. Together, we explored issues such as the right to respect and personal dignity, the right to speak and express one's opinion, the right to a life free from violence, to a sense of security and personal integrity, and the right to express emotions. These workshops were filled with conversations and often lively discussions and debates! We created artistically, because sometimes it's easier to express oneself through manual activities!
Working in groups of several or a dozen people made participants feel comfortable and allowed each participant to express their opinion on a given topic. As a result, the workshops not only provided theoretical knowledge but also focused on practical aspects related to respecting children's rights.

A crucial aspect of the project was collaboration with experienced and committed educators. Thanks to them, an atmosphere of openness and understanding prevailed during the workshops.
Another key element of the project was collaboration with students. Their activity and engagement during classes confirmed that such initiatives are necessary and have a real impact on developing social awareness. The students not only acquired new information but also actively participated in discussions, which helped build their social skills and critical thinking.
We would like to sincerely thank the Wrocław Agglomeration Association for their support and the opportunity to implement this important project. Participating in the project allowed us to reach a greater number of children and young people, contributing to building awareness of children's rights.

For all the experiences, conversations, and creative activities within the project, we would like to express our immense gratitude to everyone involved: the educational team, the students, the teaching staff, and those responsible for developing the concept and workshop materials: Magdalena Kreis and Natalia Romaszkan for design, graphic designer Sabina Sokół, and Hanna Achremowicz and Agnieszka Kozak for technical consultations. All of this was possible thanks to your commitment! Thank you!
The project was prepared by the Ładne Historie Foundation at the invitation of the Association of Municipalities of the Wrocław Agglomeration.
