On June 8, 2022, we will launch a nationwide network bringing together individuals and entities operating in the field of tourism for people with disabilities and entities providing respite care interested in including active forms of recreation in their offerings.

For what purpose is the network being created?
By establishing a network connecting individuals and entities involved in tourism for people with disabilities and those responsible for implementing various forms of respite care, we want to initiate a nationwide discussion and highlight the possibility of viewing both services as a single, universal product. The network aims to strengthen individuals and entities operating in these areas through the exchange of experiences, initiating collaboration, and active dialogue within and outside the network. We invite you to advocate for those areas and issues that we jointly consider crucial for the development of active forms of respite care in Poland.
What will participation in the network involve?
Participation in the network is voluntary and free of charge. Network meetings will be held regularly, every two months, alternating between in-person and online meetings. During these meetings, in addition to exchanging best practices, we will discuss opportunities for cooperation and discuss topics of mutual importance. Study visits will also be organized annually, during which we will visit locations hosting interesting initiatives related to tourism for people with disabilities. A mapping meeting will be held in September to better identify the mutual expectations and needs of the individuals and entities joining the network.
How can I join the network?
The inaugural meeting will be held online – via the Zoom platform – on June 8, 2022, from 12:00 to 13:30.
