Center for the Development and Activity of Children and Youth

One of the activities we've been running in the Plac Grunwaldzki housing estate since the beginning of 2021 is the Children and Youth Development and Activity Center – a year-round project funded by the Municipality of Wrocław and the Mayday Foundation. Our goal is to create a safe space for the youngest residents of Grunwald (or those studying in our estate) where they can spend time with their peers, create and be creative, and enjoy a meal prepared in collaboration with our animators. The project is aimed at students in grades 1-8.

At our Center, children spend their time creatively and co-create a space where they can develop their creativity and sensitivity! We offer a range of free creative and movement activities, creative workshops in the ceramics studio, relaxation sessions with a psychologist, culinary workshops, group visits to cultural institutions, as well as team-building activities and themed events. All of this is designed to stimulate curiosity and imagination and support the development of children's creative thinking. We also offer help with learning and homework – after all, everyone needs a little help with tasks and puzzles sometimes.

 

The Center for the Development and Activity of Children and Youth is operating every day – Monday to Friday – 15:30-19:30. During this time, animators will be on site to conduct activities for your children.

We recruit on a continuous basis via online form — We encourage all parents to register their children for our classes! After completing the form, we will send you information via email about the class schedule and available spots for that month.

We are located in the courtyard at ul. Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie 63a, on the first floor of the former headquarters of Wrocławskie Mieszkania – and it is here We invite you from Monday to Friday from 15:30 to 19:30. Information about events we organize for the local community outside the regular opening hours of the Center can be found in the NEWS tab or on the dedicated website of the estate. placgrunwaldzki.com

The nearest tram and bus stop is called Kliniki – Politechnika Wrocławska and is located approximately 140 meters from our office.

 

The route between the bus stop and the Local Activity Center includes three crossings: a pedestrian crossing with traffic lights across Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie Street, a pedestrian crossing with traffic lights across Łukasiewicza Street, and a pedestrian crossing without traffic lights across another section of Łukasiewicza Street. Entering the courtyard where our office is located requires passing the Pasibus restaurant, passing a mural, and walking approximately 89 meters.

 

You can reach the Kliniki – Politechnika Wrocławska stop by trams number 1, 2, 4, 10, 16, WLT and buses number 115, 145, 146, 253, 255 and 315.

  • PONIEDZIAŁEK 16.02
    WITRAŻE OKIENNE
    Podczas warsztatów dzieci stworzą kolorowe witraże, które ozdobią okna i wpuszczą do wnętrza barwne światło. Uczestnicy poznają proste techniki łączenia kolorów i kształtów, rozwijając przy tym wyobraźnię oraz zdolności manualne.

    PAPIEROWE PTAKI
    Na tych zajęciach dzieci wykonają własne, fantazyjne ptaki z papieru. Będą wycinać, składać i ozdabiać skrzydła oraz ogony, tworząc barwne, przestrzenne dekoracje inspirowane naturą. 
  • ŚRODA 18.02
    PTASI KARMNIK
    Dzieci zaprojektują i ozdobią karmnik dla ptaków. Będą to zajęcia plastyczne, podczas których uczestnicy rozwiną wyobraźnię, nauczą się pracy z różnymi materiałami i stworzą własną, zimową dekorację.

    TKAMY PODKŁADKĘ POD KUBEK
    Podczas warsztatów dzieci poznają podstawy tkania. Z kolorowych włóczek i sznurków stworzą własną podkładkę pod kubek – praktyczną i wyjątkową ozdobę do domu.

    ROBIMY ZWIERZĘCE MASKI
    Na tych zajęciach dzieci zamienią się w ulubione zwierzęta, tworząc kolorowe maski. Będą malować, wycinać i ozdabiać je według własnych pomysłów.

    GLINA NA WARSZTAT – ROBIMY BRELOCZKI
    Podczas zajęć dzieci stworzą własne breloczki z gliny. Nauczą się formować proste kształty, odciskać wzory i ozdabiać swoje prace, rozwijając zdolności manualne oraz wyobraźnię.

    PUENTYLIZM – OBRAZY Z KROPEK
    Na warsztatach dzieci poznają technikę malarską polegającą na tworzeniu obrazów z małych kropek. Za pomocą farb i patyczków stworzą kolorowe kompozycje.

    PTAKI Z PLASTELINY
    Dzieci wykonają barwne ptaki z plasteliny. Będą formować, łączyć kolory i tworzyć ciekawe faktury, rozwijając małą motorykę oraz twórczą wyobraźnię.

    KARTONOWE KONSTRUKCJE – SKARBONKI
    Podczas zajęć uczestnicy wykonają własne skarbonki z kartonu. Będą wycinać, sklejać i ozdabiać swoje konstrukcje, ucząc się planowania pracy oraz tworzenia przestrzennych form.

    To czas wspólnej zabawy przy grach planszowych i kubku ciepłego kakao. Dzieci będą rozwijać logiczne myślenie, współpracę i zdrową rywalizację, spędzając miły wieczór w przyjaznej atmosferze.
