On September 12, 2026, something we had long been waiting for happened – for the first time, we opened the doors of the All Children's Center at 39-41 Górnickiego Street in Wrocław.
It was a special day – we celebrated the beginning of another very important phase. For years, we have been working with children, young people, parents, caregivers, and educators to create the Center for Child and Youth Development and Activity at Grunwaldzki Square. The time has come for growth – thanks to our new location, this will be possible! After years of operating at Grunwaldzki Square, we are moving our operations to Ołbin. Our new location is located on Górnickiego Street, which connects these two neighboring neighborhoods. After this change, we will be more accessible to children and young people from both parts of the city. The new location also allows for easy access from all over the city center!
New space means new opportunities! This larger space allows us to invite more children and young people to the Center and develop offerings we couldn't have imagined before.
The first thought about finding a new location for children and young people occurred to us at the end of 2023. Inspired by other places in Poland that create valuable and welcoming spaces for children and young people, we began exploring opportunities to expand our Center. Above all, we wanted to better meet the needs of young people – create a larger space that could be used by more children, a safe, accessible, well-equipped place, closer to their homes and near schools.
Behind us over 2.5 years of searching, talking, planning and working. We were looking not only for the right venue, but also for partners who would support us in its implementation!
Thank you for your financial and material support, but also for dedicated time, work and personal commitment – for cleaning together, assembling and renovating furniture, painting the walls and everything that made the doors of the All Children’s Center open to young people!

What happened that day
The official opening, which took place on September 12th, included welcomes, thank-yous, speeches, and a symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony—performed, of course, by the children! Then came conversations, hugs, tears of emotion, and the first shared exploration of the Center.
It was no coincidence that on this day we also showed the effects of the project „"WE CO-CREATE: An Artistic Zine in Wrocław's Śródmieście District"”. The exhibition of works and the premiere of the zine reminded us how important it is for children and young people not only to use the spaces created for them, but also to have a real impact on their character and what happens there.
After the official part, the celebration moved to Tołpa Park. Children, young people, and entire families enjoyed workshops and entertainment, as well as a special highlight of the picnic: a performance. „"A Winding Trail with the Snail"” Gracholka Theatre.
We organized the picnic together with Ołbin Estate Council as part of the Free Time Fund. We would also like to thank Municipal Social Welfare Center and Municipal Public Library for preparing the attractions and workshops.
