Spring and summer are a time of intense activity in the Plac Grunwaldzki housing estate. We're looking for volunteers of all ages who want to get involved in activities that support the residents of Grunwald. Get involved and help with us!
We want to strengthen ties, help those in need, and develop a local network of collaborations. After all, CAL is not just a physical location, but above all a community – neighborly, multigenerational, and intercultural!
We're looking for people who are eager to get involved and ready to engage in projects, large or small, for the benefit of others and their immediate surroundings. Regardless of the nature of the collaboration, we offer opportunities to gain experience and participate in interesting initiatives for the residents of the Plac Grunwaldzki housing estate.
What tasks do we plan for volunteers?
- support for animation and educational activities taking place in the estate, including picnics and meetings in the courtyards;
- organizational assistance in the implementation of program activities of the Local Activity Center, Civic Workshop – Zielony Plac Grunwaldzki, Center for the Development and Activity of Children and Youth;
- language volunteering – translating information texts for the placgrunwaldzki.com website (primarily information on the offer available to people who do not speak Polish) and support of intercultural assistants during organised activities.
We're looking for people for recurring, part-time, and one-time support. All hands on deck, RIGHT NOW!

We will contact everyone who applies by email or phone within five days to inform them about the recruitment process and answer any questions.
Who can apply?
We welcome everyone, regardless of age, who would like to volunteer their free time to help with the activities of the Plac Grunwaldzki OD NOWA Local Activity Center. We are also open to working with seventh- and eighth-grade students. This April, you can support us in organizing the Grunwaldzki Arcade, a Tuesday gathering for board game enthusiasts.
The extent of their involvement in working with us depends on the volunteer's decision, their willingness, and the time they can dedicate. In consultation with the volunteer, we define the scope of responsibilities and the duration of the work.
All volunteers will be involved in our neighborhood initiatives based on volunteer contracts. Additionally, at the end of the initiative, they will receive a certificate and a letter of recommendation.
