The aim of the training was to develop the skills and knowledge of volunteers so that they could more effectively contribute to their communities and collaborate effectively with others. During the three-day training, participants participated in activities on civic education, effective action, and gaining allies. Young activists disseminated knowledge on building support networks in the local community, effective communication, and win-win negotiation. We also discussed concepts for activities that foster the inclusion of various social groups in initiatives, including people with disabilities and those at risk of exclusion.

The practical portion of the training was devoted to teamwork, during which participants had the opportunity to apply their acquired knowledge in practice. Under the guidance of experienced facilitators, each team prepared an independent project for a local non-profit event aimed at a specific social group. A civic lesson with representatives of veterans' organizations, emphasizing their experiences and roles in history, a Valentine's Day dance to challenge stereotypes, and a charity volleyball tournament are just some examples of real-world volunteer projects that participants will undertake to benefit their local community.
