At the Ładne Historie Foundation, we're looking for someone to help us develop the Plac Grunwaldzki OD NOWA Center – a space for meetings and building neighborhood relationships, education and culture, volunteering, and supporting local initiatives. If you have experience managing cultural or social projects, are adept at building relationships, and want to advocate for the residents of Wrocław, this role is for you!
Fundacja Ładne Historie has been operating since 2016, combining integration, animation, respite care, education, culture, and local heritage. We create spaces for collaboration in Lower Silesia, with particular emphasis on Świdnica and Wrocław. We work with a diverse community, support local leaders, and encourage active participation in the service of others. Our activities are not projects, but stories and histories written in collaboration with the community around us.
The Plac Grunwaldzki OD NOWA Center is an open space for individuals and groups living, learning, and working in the Plac Grunwaldzki estate. We support intergenerational integration, the development of neighborly relationships, and grassroots initiatives. Education, collaboration, local identity, and culture are important aspects of our daily work. We create a space where everyone can get involved and contribute to the life of the estate.
We are currently looking for a person to join our Foundation team as a manager of the Center:
- position: manager of the Plac Grunwaldzki OD NOWA Center;
- form of employment: to be agreed (employment contract/civil law contract);
- Working hours: ¾ full-time
- place of work: Wrocław, Plac Grunwaldzki – work both at our headquarters (ul. Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie 63a) and in the field;
- Fee: PLN 3,500 net per month.
- Start of employment: second half of February 2025.

Scope of duties:
- coordinating the Centre’s activities, including planning and implementing activities consistent with the Centre’s profile, planning and managing the work of the Centre’s team;
- Coordinating the Center's program – initiating and implementing social, animation, cultural and educational projects, and providing production support to the Center's team.
- cooperation with the local community – institutions, organizations, activists and the local community, with particular emphasis on animating and managing local partnerships;
- Supervision over the monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of activities, including the creation of substantive reports, cooperation with an external evaluation specialist and supervision over the finances and administration of the Centre – in this respect, cooperation with the administration team and the Foundation’s management board in the field of budgeting and reporting (including:. – ordering contracts, keeping records of hours).
- Promotion of the Centre’s activities – cooperation with the media, co-management of communication and information activities (creation and publication of content).
- Supporting the fundraising team in raising funds and implementing cooperation – in this regard, in particular the creation of grant applications and partnership cooperation at the local level.
Who are we looking for? Someone who:
- Has experience in managing social, educational, participatory and/or cultural projects.
- Possesses the ability to build relationships and enjoys working with the local community.
- Able to effectively coordinate team activities and engage volunteers.
- Knows and understands the specific activities of non-governmental organizations.
- Can work strategically – plan, implement and evaluate activities.
- is an open, communicative and collaborative person;
- Knows the basics of budget management and project administration.
- Has experience in raising funds for social/cultural activities (preferred).
- She is available and flexible with her hours (due to the nature of the Center, we sometimes work on weekends or in the afternoons, and availability on selected working days during the day is also crucial for us).
- is proficient in using digital tools for design work (Google suites, Microsoft Office);
- has at least secondary education – a specialized education is welcome (e.g. cultural animation, psychology, pedagogy, cultural studies, sociology).
