This year, Cinema on Blankets met four times in three neighborhoods in Świdnica to watch animated films together outdoors. A total of over 470 people participated – proof that outdoor cinema has a huge appeal and is needed by residents!

The weather hasn't been kind to us this year – July, in particular, has required several schedule changes. We sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding, as we know that watching movies together outdoors is worth the small inconvenience. We believe that gatherings like these are more than just a movie. They're an opportunity to strengthen neighborhood bonds, build community, and create a space where everyone – regardless of age – can feel part of something bigger.

Sharing the experience of culture in the everyday spaces of neighborhoods makes it more relatable and accessible. That's why, for us, Kino na Kocach (Cinema on Blankets) is not just a film project, but also an important step towards creating a city that is open, welcoming, and full of encounters!

The organiser of the outdoor screenings as part of Cinema on Blankets is Fundacja Ładne Historie in cooperation with the Wrocław Film Foundation.
The activity was possible thanks to financing from the budget of the Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, the Municipality of the City of Świdnica and thanks to cooperation with Electrolux.
