Wrocław residents, enthusiasts, birdwatchers and those who want to look at their estate from the natural perspective – Fundacja Ładne Historie and Wrocławska Spółdzielnia Socjalna invite you to a series of walks as part of the "Outdoor Workshop: Ornithological Walks". There will be two bird and nature adventures with Kamil Zięba.

We'll meet on Sunday, April 12th, at 9:00 AM at the fountains by the Grunwaldzki Bridge (opposite Odra Centrum). We'll walk along the Oder and Old Oder Rivers to Szczytnicki Park. We'll see which birds have already arrived from warmer climes and which are still on their way. We'll see how different species inhabit different habitats – the city center, the residential district, the park, and the river. We'll look for larger woodpeckers – green and black – and the common moorhen, which, contrary to appearances, isn't a duck. We'll be primarily interested in birds, but we'll also explore other creatures we encounter. The walk will take about two hours.

The second walk—planned as part of the May Neighborhood Festival—will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 5:00 PM, but in May, all the birds will be there. They'll be singing a little less than at dawn, but the ducks may already be having their young. Details and registration will be available in the second half of April.
