The SEMINAR "Closer to Nature – Respite Tourism and Wilderness Therapy. New Forms of Support for People with Disabilities and Their Families" is behind us. It took place on April 25 in Wrocław and was organized by the Imago Foundation in cooperation with the Ładne Historie Foundation.
The aim of the seminar, titled "Closer to Nature – Respite Tourism and Wilderness Therapy. New Forms of Support for People with Disabilities and Their Families," will be to present the work of the Ładne Historie Foundation and the Imago Foundation related to new forms of support for people with disabilities and their families through therapeutic activities in nature and accessible tourism.

We would like to thank all the speakers and special guests: Mr. Bartłomiej Kubicz, Director of the Voivodeship Promotion Department of the Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Ms. Justyna Butryn, Deputy Director of the Voivodeship Promotion Department of the Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Mr. Paweł Parus, Plenipotentiary of the Marshal for People with Disabilities, President of the KKN Association, and Mr. Michał Fitas, Member of the KKN Association, for coming.
We would like to thank all those who decided to spend this day with us for their active participation in the workshops and discussion panel.
The development of social services in the respite care sector requires collaboration on many levels, and we are delighted to have another opportunity to meet in a cross-sectoral environment! During the seminar, we had the opportunity to discuss our work methods for designing respite services not only for people with disabilities but also for their parents and caregivers. Agnieszka Gębska and Sylwia Nowakowska, mothers of participants in our mountain trips, led the workshops. They are a powerful and crucial voice in the discussion.
Thank you and see you soon on the trail!
