Health starts with a conversation
Following the official opening of the event, we will invite you to a discussion about the challenges facing young people and their families today. We will discuss hate and verbal abuse among children and youth, discuss how to recognize disturbing signals, and how to support young people in everyday situations. This topic will also be introduced with a presentation of the #HejtOVER campaign, implemented by the City of Wrocław and the Wrocław Centre for Social Development.

Prevention that can save your health
The program also includes talks on thyroid disease prevention, prepared in collaboration with specialists from the 4th Military Clinical Hospital. This is a good opportunity to learn what symptoms to look out for and when to consult a doctor.
Representatives from the scientific and medical communities will also appear on stage to discuss initiatives that help residents better navigate the healthcare system and take advantage of available preventive programs. One of the topics will be the Wrocław Health Map, prepared by the event's partners.

Vaccinations without myths
At 2:30 PM, we invite you to a meeting with Dr. Kamila Ludwikowska, who will discuss the "Wrocław is Vaccinating" campaign and the role of vaccinations in protecting residents' health. This will be an opportunity to hear from an expert and get answers to your questions about infectious disease prevention.
Healthy children, healthy habits
In the second part of the day, we will discuss nutrition for children and adolescents. Experts from the polskiedzieci.org foundation will present solutions that support healthy eating habits and discuss activities conducted in educational institutions. This is a particularly valuable part of the program for parents, caregivers, and those working with children.
Buteyko Method Breathing Session
Between 2:30 and 3:00 PM, we invite you to a group breathing session led by Agnieszka Kupis, a breathing trainer. During the session, you'll learn simple techniques that help you relax your body, calm your mind, and better cope with stressful situations. It's an opportunity to pause, reconnect with your breath, and learn to consciously respond when tension arises.
Healthy cuisine live
Finally, we'll invite you to a healthy cooking demonstration, where you'll see how healthy cooking can be simple, delicious, and accessible every day. The demonstration will be prepared by partners specializing in nutritional education and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Let's meet in the Market Square!
The stage program is just some of the attractions planned for Health Promotion Days. Residents will be able to enjoy approximately 40 booths run by partners representing public institutions, social organizations, medical facilities, universities, and health initiatives. Many of them will offer free tests, consultations, and practical advice on health and daily living. The event's philosophy has remained unchanged for years: to promote a healthy lifestyle, encourage preventative care, and facilitate access to knowledge and specialists.
We ensure the event is accessible to people with special needs. We provide on-site translations into Polish Sign Language (PJM) and can also provide assistance from an assistant. If you have any accessibility needs, please contact us by email (placgrunwaldzki@ladnehistorie.pl) until June 10, 2026.
The event takes place in an accessible space in the Wrocław Market Square, located close to public transport stops (stops: Rynek, Świdnicka and Szewska), and the full timetable is available on the website MPK Wrocław.
The offer at individual stations is available first to mothers with children and/or pregnant women, seniors, as well as people with special needs, including people with disabilities.

The campaign is funded by the Municipality of Wrocław as part of the project "Organization and implementation of the Healthy Wrocław – 17th Days of Health Promotion campaign" (www.wroclaw.pl). The project is implemented by Fundacja Ładne Historie.
