The space at 8/4 Nauczycielska Street in the neighborhood is an important and much-needed initiative in the context of the war in Ukraine. Activities carried out by entities associated with the local partnership "Nasz Grunwald" allow those who sought refuge in our city from the war to take their first steps in safe conditions. The office space provided by Pathway serves many individuals and groups, including as coworking space, which was the starting point for this space, and much more has been happening there for some time now.
Activities and meetings related to services such as psychological support, career counseling, Polish language lessons, and art therapy are held. Importantly, volunteers, most of whom are from Ukraine, have actively participated in organizing this space. This fosters a community here, which has been one of the goals of Nauczycielska 8/4 from the very beginning. The free provision of the space by Pathway, an IT company, is a great benefit and invaluable support for the Ukrainian community.

The entities associated with the "Nasz Grunwald" partnership are actively involved in building the Nauczycielska 8/4 program, including by opening their spaces and offering them as co-working spaces. In this way, we are strengthening the neighborhood's network of collaboration and providing additional support to the beneficiaries of our initiative. Fundacja Ładne Historie, Fundacja Fabryka Sensu, and Soroptimist International Club Vratislavia are responsible for the daily offerings of the space, its management, and contact with those interested in using it.
The primary audience for the space is young women and women with children. From the very beginning, children have been able to participate in creative activities in the community center at the Local Activity Center and in classes at Odra Centrum. Zakwas Studio organized a series of pottery classes, and Branch No. 29 of the Wrocław Municipal Public Library organized music and integration classes for children and their mothers. The Wrocław Municipal Social Welfare Center offered consultations with a field worker, and Szkoła Podstawowa nr 84 im. Ruchu Obrońców Pokoju kept us updated on the progress of new students' adaptation to their facility. Additionally, anyone can come to us with their ideas and organize a meeting tailored to their needs at Nauczycielska 8/4. Since spring of this year, some of the events we organize in the neighborhood are also translated into Ukrainian, and our team has expanded by two people who support us daily with their presence at events aimed at the Ukrainian community. Language is no longer a barrier to communication, allowing us to include new, Ukrainian-speaking individuals in our activities. We do not aim for reach, but for openness to getting to know other people, and this remains our constant value.
Forming new connections with other people from Ukraine is a process we want to continue. Strengthening relationships, understanding each other's needs, exploring our similarities, and recognizing and understanding our differences are all part of this process.
The space is becoming increasingly popular each month and is becoming a hub for meetings. We receive new inquiries about using the space for consulting activities: legal, psychological, coworking, educational, informational, integration, and even artistic. We are delighted to be able to be useful and support grassroots adaptation processes for Wrocław's new residents, as well as to learn how to coexist well in new social circumstances.
