We have another event coming up as part of the "Plac Grunwaldzki – an untold story" project, during which we will take you on a walk with Joanna Hytrek-Hryciuk, who will tell you what the estate looked like after the war, what remained and what is no longer visible.

During our walk, we will pay particular attention to the transformation of this place's functionality that took place in the 1940s. We will reflect together on its specific function related to trade, as well as the formation of a new community of residents on the ruins of the Grunwaldzka axis. Our guides will be the first post-war residents, their memories, and their accounts. We will also try to look (through technology and imagination) at places that no longer exist, but that were important to the city's residents after 1945.
May 9, 2024, 5:00 p.m. We invite you to Adolf Maria Bocheński Square, from where we will continue our journey through the streets of Grunwald. The walk is open to all adults. Participation is free.
Walking route:
Start: Adolf Maria Bocheński Square, then along the streets: Miła, Ładna (fragment), Reja (fragment), Grunwaldzka, Pasteura, Marcinkowskiego, Chałbińskiego, Łukasiewicza, Smoluchowskiego, Pasaż Studentów, finish line: Stanisław Lem Monument
