We have fantastic news – today we can share with you the result of our several-month collaboration with SoftServe, which has resulted in a brand new website for Ładne Historie. It's the perfect gift to celebrate our seventh birthday!
We are celebrating the lucky seven throughout October – the premiere of the new version of the substantive report is behind us (you can find it by clicking on this link), presentation of the Program Council and the Workers' Council (you can read more about our team in this tab) and the first official announcement of the Public Benefit Organization for Nice Stories' statute. Today, we're adding a new, more accessible, and visually refreshed website to our list of birthday news.

You may remember that last year part of our team took part in the project BIZnES Class Academy – an initiative connecting social economy entities, business, academia, and the creative sector. Based on skills-based volunteering and mentoring, the project aims to provide skills and advisory support to social enterprises and NGOs. Thanks to mentoring from business representatives and the support of designers from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, they can improve and implement products and services, and develop their skills and knowledge. Participating in the Academy was a crucial experience for our organization, significantly impacting the functioning of our foundation.

One of the business partners we have been working with for over a year is SoftServe, whose volunteers have been working with us behind the scenes for over a decade on a new version of our foundation's website. This process included creating the architecture, working on UX and design, consulting on functionality, and proposing the best solutions for the NGO sector. As well as developing the entire website using WordPress. Thanks to their work and dedication, we can now present to you (and to your screens) a completely new, refreshed, and updated version of our organization's website.
SoftServe is an international technology company providing software development consulting services and implementing various projects in areas such as Big Data, IoT, Cloud, DevOps, e-commerce, IT security, and experience design. However, SoftServe is more than just technology. It's a company created by talented professionals motivated to continuously develop themselves, who use their extensive expertise and the latest technological solutions to help others. This is enabled by, among other things, OpenTech, an internal initiative where employees can engage in pro bono projects after hours. A platform created for this purpose connects company volunteers with non-governmental organizations that need support in areas such as creating websites, platforms, and applications. The initiative has been operating for over two years, and during this time, it has successfully completed 25 projects involving over 400 volunteers.
BIZnES Class Academy is a project created and implemented by the Lower Silesian Social Policy Center, the Responsible Business Laboratory Foundation, the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts, Objectivity, PwC, SoftServe, and UBS.
