The Wrocław Participatory Budget (WBO) is one of Wrocław's participatory budgeting programs. This means that Wrocław's residents co-decide on a portion of the city budget.
From September 24th to October 10th, 2022, you can vote in the Wrocław Participatory Budget. Our neighborhood project received a positive substantive assessment and will be put to a vote. All Wrocław residents have the right to vote in the WBO, regardless of age, citizenship, or residence. Children's votes are also counted.

Housing estate project number 213
„"Play Islands" will encourage families and people of all ages, including adults, students, and seniors, to spend time outdoors in a green, safe, and aesthetically pleasing space within the development. The investment project aims to revitalize two areas within the Plac Grunwaldzki development – adding play, recreational, and sports equipment and planting greenery in the Louis Pasteur Coast courtyard, and revitalizing the greenery in Irena Sendler Square, including repairing the ramp and stairs to the square.
Return to freedom and integration
Grunwaldzki Square lacks infrastructure that allows families with children to spend time together outdoors. The need for a publicly accessible and attractive playground and new plantings is voiced by a significant portion of the estate's younger and older residents. The project aims to create resident-friendly spaces and enable them to utilize the potential of their backyards and squares. Investing in this infrastructure will enable the local community to integrate and develop neighborly relationships, and will positively impact the quality of life in the estate.
Over the next four weeks, we will be promoting project number 213, „Play Islands,” at various events in the estate.
Vote
Voting will take place from September 24th to October 10th, 2022. Voting will take place electronically on wroclaw.pl/wbo and on paper at voting stations. Every resident of Wrocław, regardless of age or nationality, has the right to vote. Registration in Wrocław is not required to vote.

We care about our neighborhood, and we believe you do too! We're counting on a high number of votes for "Play Islands," neighborhood project number 213!
The project "Local Activity Centre at the Plac Grunwaldzki estate" is co-financed by the Municipality of Wrocław.
