On March 16, 2026, the third meeting of the Local Support System for Świdnica families took place at the Non-Governmental Organization Center in Świdnica, carried out as part of the project "The Future Written by Family".

The meeting was devoted to an extremely important and current issue: „"Children Outside the System – Invisible Children. Identification, Diagnosis, Inclusion"”.
Expert lecture
The meeting was hosted by Dr. Małgorzata Michel, DSc, prof. of the Jagiellonian University– rehabilitation pedagogue and academic lecturer associated with Jagiellonian University.
In her speech, she highlighted the mechanisms that keep some children "invisible" to the support system, despite their real needs. She also discussed the difficulties associated with identifying and diagnosing them, and emphasized the importance of interinstitutional collaboration in effectively reaching families and developing appropriate forms of support.
Workshop part
An important element of the meeting was the workshop, during which participants jointly analyzed the most important issues concerning the so-called "invisible children.".
The issues discussed included, among others:
- difficulties in recognizing children and families outside the system,
- communication and organizational barriers between institutions,
- limited access of families to adequate support,
- challenges in effective cross-sectoral cooperation.
Participants shared their experiences from daily work and identified areas requiring strengthening and further action.
Collaboration and networking
The meeting was also an opportunity to exchange experiences, build relationships and strengthen cooperation between representatives of institutions and organizations working for children and families in Świdnica.
The informal part of the meeting encouraged conversations and networking, which are the foundation of an effective local support system.
