Like every year at this time, we would like to cordially invite you to outdoor screenings as part of our Cinema on Blankets in Świdnica!

The first screening will take place July 16th at 8:30 p.m. at the Zarzecze Estate, by the pitch on Kilińskiego Street behind the TBS apartment buildings. What will we watch? "About the Dog Who Rode the Train"! This is the story of Zuzia, who meets a dog named Lampo, famous for his incredible train journeys. The film is a loose adaptation of Roman Pisarski's cult book, which will move and entertain both young and old viewers.
The second screening will take place July 30th in Zawiszów, Świdnica, at the square on Galla Anonima Street at 8:30 p.m. You will be able to watch the Finnish-Polish production "The Memoirs of Moominpappa" from 2021. What this film is about: In a distant land lies Moominvalley, a captivating, astonishing place full of secrets. Quiet evenings are conducive to telling incredible stories from the past, and Moominpappa has quite a few. He, too, was once a little Moomin, and you won't believe what he did back then!
The third screening will take place August 13th at 8:30 p.m., this time at the Youth Housing Estate, near the tennis court on Prądzyńskiego Street. This time, we invite everyone to a screening of "A Film for Aliens," a Polish film from 2024. The story goes like this: thirteen-year-old Jeremi, introverted but incredibly creative, spends his days in front of his phone, creating videos and posting them online. When his mother takes him to his grandfather's for vacation, he hides away in a treehouse in the forest. Just when everything indicates he'll be bored to death there, he encounters a robot who gives him a mission: by following mysterious instructions, he must create a film that will fly into space! There's just one problem – one of the tasks involves finding someone to help him... Will Jeremi, who never runs out of amazing ideas, open up to others and dare to make true friendships? Age: 9+
