What does Śródmieście look like through the eyes of children? What's worth paying attention to, what should you draw, describe, or turn into a collage? We invite children aged 7-13 to participate in a free series of artistic meetings organized as part of the project "WSPÓŁTWORZYMY: Artistic Zine in Wrocław's Śródmieście.".

During four August meetings, participants will explore the Ołbin estate and its surroundings, learn various creative techniques, and work together to create their own zine – a small artistic publication about Śródmieście from a children's perspective.
We will observe the architecture, urban details, greenery and everyday life of the area, and we will use the inspiration we gather during workshops on illustration, collage, the basics of graphic design and typography.
Workshop program:
- August 6 | 5:00 PM
Wydrawywanka and Ołbin tiles
We will discover the patterns of Ołbin tiles and create our own works using the scratching technique, inspired by the architectural details of the city centre.
- August 18 | 5:00 PM
Collages from the city center
Using photographs, papers, illustrations and imagination, we will create unique collages inspired by the surrounding area, discovering the secrets of the Ołbin dwarves.
- August 20 | 5:00 PM
Artistic walk around Ołbin
We will embark on a journey to discover hidden details, textures, colors, and urban stories, gathering inspiration that we will later transform into our own zine.
- August 26 | 5:00 PM
Typography and textures of the city
We will see that the letters, inscriptions and textures of the city can tell stories and will become material for creative experiments!
- September 12th at 12:00 PM We invite you to the premiere of an artistic zine and the opening of an exhibition presenting the works of the project participants.
The workshops and walk will take place in Stanisław Tołpa Park.
The final event will take place at the All Children's Center at Górnickiego Street 39-41.
Participation and registration
Participation in the project is completely free. The workshops are intended for children aged 7–13. Space is limited.
