Święto Osiedla Grunwaldzki Square is a great opportunity to launch the "Mister Wrocław. Walks Following the Trail of Architectural Memories" project. During the first walk, we will guide you along the route marked in the book as Akademicka.

It begins with Mister, who won first place in the contest for the most beautiful building built in 1965 – the semi-detached house on Wojciecha z Brudzewa Street. The tour will include such gems as the Scientist's House on Grunwaldzki Square and the Institute of Mathematics designed by Krystyna and Marian Barski. Our guide will be Krzysztof Ziental, an art historian and monument expert.

Workshops

The walk will be complemented by a reminiscence and impressions workshop with Marta Sieczkowska. The workshop will be a meeting based on conversation and the exchange of impressions gathered during the architectural walks in the footsteps of the book "Mister Wrocław.".

Participants will explore their experiences, memories, and emotions associated with the places they visit, and then translate them into creative activities. The process will create large-format maps—personal and collective records of experiences. Using collage, prints, drawing, and note-taking techniques, participants will visualize their reflections, creating unique, multi-layered images of memory.

  • When and where? May 19, 5:00 PM, branch 29 of the Municipal Public Library, Reja Street 1
  • free admission: registration: info@fundacjafandom.pl, tel. 572 566 450
