On behalf of the Ładne Historie Foundation and the Imago Foundation, we cordially invite you to participate in a dissemination seminar devoted to the topic of Wilderness Therapy and the prospects for the development of respite tourism in Poland.

 

The aim of the seminar, titled "Closer to Nature – Respite Tourism and Wilderness Therapy. New Forms of Support for People with Disabilities and Their Families," will be to present the work of the Ładne Historie Foundation and the Imago Foundation related to new forms of support for people with disabilities and their families through therapeutic activities in nature and accessible tourism.

The seminar guests will be experts in the field of relaxation tourism and therapy based on contact with nature, with extensive experience in organizing various forms of active support for people with disabilities.

  • 10:30 – 11:30 Workshop sessions (choose Workshop 1 or 2)
    • Workshop 1: Fundacja Ładne Historie. Designing respite services that take into account the needs of parents of children with disabilities – Leaders: Anna Gerus, member of the Foundation’s board responsible for accessibility, Sylwia Nowakowska, and Agnieszka and Jarosław Gębski, parents of children with disabilities.
    • Workshop 2: Imago Foundation. Wilderness Therapy for people with disabilities – Presenters: Magdalena Kowalska, Katarzyna Radzińska, Magdalena Stempska, Wilderness Therapy experts and trainers.
  • 11:30 – 12:00 Coffee break
  • 12:00 – 13:00 Workshop sessions (choose Workshop 3 or 4)
    • Workshop 3: Fundacja Ładne Historie. Organized forms of outdoor tourism for people with disabilities – Leader: Daniel Gerus, organizer and producer of outdoor events and originator of the "Łączą nas gór" project.
    • Workshop 4: Imago Foundation. Water, Mountains, Forest – How Do We Do It? – Presented by: Agata Włodarczyk-Bucharowska, Wilderness Therapy expert and trainer.
  • 13:00 – 13:45 Panel discussion: Social and recreation tourism – development potential – effective mechanisms of social inclusion.
