We have fantastic news for our volunteers: we are launching a series of workshops and training sessions addressed especially to you!

First things first – an anti-burnout workshop. More and more people struggle with chronic stress at work. Work overload (we do a lot in a short time), a fast pace of work, rising and often unrealistic expectations, socially assessed work (our work is assessed not only by our supervisor but also by clients and society), and inadequate pay are just some of the factors that can lead to professional burnout. Burnout affects more than just professional activity. People involved in social, activist, and volunteer activities may also be at risk. The mechanisms and symptoms of burnout are similar.

  • you will gain basic knowledge about stress and burnout,
  • you will learn what the symptoms of burnout are and how to recognize them in yourself and others,
  • you will analyze your own risk factors (you will look at your current attitudes, beliefs, action models, etc.),
  • you will gain knowledge about basic tools for preventing burnout.
