If you enjoy cooking and trying new flavors, we have good news for you, together with the Wrocław Social Cooperative! We invite you to participate in the 4th edition of the tastiest series in Grunwald – "Pojedzone – Neighborhood Culinary Meetings." This summer series of free workshops with food lovers will run from August to September.

Summer is the perfect time to enjoy fruits and vegetables. Fleshy tomatoes, colorful squash, and sweet raspberries are just some of the many delicious vegetables that grace our plates in late summer. It's time to squeeze seasonal ingredients like a lemon and discover creative recipes for using them.

Under the guidance of experienced culinary practitioners, we will prepare vegetarian and vegan recipes. We will discover all the facets of the tomato, sample the cuisine of eastern Ukraine, learn techniques for healthy sweets, and, in search of inspiration for root vegetables, recite Jan Brzechwa's iconic poem.

Workshop schedule:

  • August 21, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM – vegan workshops | belly makers
    [NO PLACES AVAILABLE❗️]
Amore tomatoe! – One of the three favorite vegetables of Poles is the tomato. We're not surprised! When a sandwich with butter, tomato, chives, and salt no longer excites you, it's time to discover new recipes! We'll prepare a Spanish cold soup, a plant-based steak tartare, and a salad for fans of sweet and savory flavors.

  • August 30, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM – vegetarian workshops | Dominika Józala
    [NO PLACES AVAILABLE❗️]
Healthy Sweets – Do healthy sweets exist? Yes, and you can easily make them at home! You'll discover 5 ideas for a sweet afternoon snack that even the sweetest of sweet tooths will enjoy. We'll bake cookies and muffins, and also prepare nut bars, energy balls, and a superfood fruit smoothie.

  • September 6, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM – vegetarian workshops | Dominika Józala
    [NO PLACES AVAILABLE❗️]
At the Market Stall – In search of root vegetable inspiration, we'll recall a poem by Jan Brzechwa. We'll create our own, incredibly delicious recipes using celery, beetroot, kohlrabi, carrots, and parsley. There will be steaks, sandwich spreads, salads, and even restaurant-style dishes!

  • September 13, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM – vegetarian workshops | Alla Latner
    [NO PLACES AVAILABLE❗️]
Eastern Ukrainian Cuisine – Ukrainian cuisine isn't just about borscht and werenyki. Join us to discover the home-cooked dishes of southeastern Ukraine. We'll cook three comfort foods, including pancakes, carrot salad, and a delicious toast.

All workshops will take place in the Plac Grunwaldzki OD NOWA space (in the courtyard at ul. Marii Curie-Skłodowskiej 63a, 1st floor).

About the presenters:

  • Alla Latner – My name is Alla and I come from the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih. I've been living in Poland for five years, where I started building my new life from scratch. Cooking is my passion. Seeing smiling faces after eating a dish I've prepared gives me immense satisfaction and happiness. I invite you to a workshop where I'll show you the home cooking of southeastern Ukraine.

  • belly-builders – Daga and Łukasz, cook, travel, and eat. Food bloggers from Wrocław, who first fell in love with each other, and then shared a passion for food. For two years, they have been running belly builders - an Instagram promoting a plant-based diet and places where you can eat well. Their dishes feature plenty of butter, salt, and unusual combinations. They focus on seasonal, local ingredients, but always with a unique twist.
