Healthy Wrocław – 17th Days of Health Promotion offers more than just free tests, consultations, and expert interviews. It's also a space for families with children who want to spend time together in a creative and active way.

On Saturday, June 13th, we've prepared a special workshop zone for children in Wrocław's Market Square. Through fun, creative activities, and culinary experiments, we'll discuss healthy habits, relaxation, and well-being. Participants will enjoy fruit-based cooking workshops, creative art activities, and inspiration demonstrating that taking care of your health can be enjoyable, colorful, and full of joy.

Participation in all three children's workshops is free and does not require advance registration. We encourage parents and guardians to share the event's attractions with their children. Please remember that parents or guardians are responsible for the safety and supervision of minors. Parents, legal guardians, or other adults in whose care they are placed are fully responsible for their safety, behavior, and constant supervision.

Workshop program for the youngest:

  • Workshop Title: Give Yourself a Moment of Relaxation! – 12:00-17:00
  • Presenters: Ida Sielska and Karolina Chrzan
  • Workshop Description: A workshop in which participants will decorate blindfolds based on their own ideas, using available art materials. During the workshop, participants will learn that a blindfold can be a simple way to quickly relax – it reduces visual stimuli, helps calm down, facilitates focusing on breathing, and gives the brain a short break from overstimulation. This can support temporary relaxation and regeneration in everyday situations. Participants will also learn a simple way to quickly calm down, which can be used in everyday life. The finished blindfolds can be used as a personal tool for short breaks and quiet time.

  • Workshop Title: Fruit Lollipops Perfect for Summer Refreshment – 12:30-14:30
  • Presenter: Kornelia Stafisz
  • Workshop description: A delicious workshop that engages you in the kitchen and shows that fruit doesn't have to be associated with boredom!

  • Workshop Title: ARTISTS OF TASTE – or fruit and vegetable landscapes – 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • Presenters: Nutrition Academy – Justyna Niziołek and Agnieszka Midek-Skalski
  • Workshop Description: Participants will approach the stations (10 at a time) for approximately 15 minutes. They will have prepared products and, either independently or with the help of facilitators and parents, will compose "paintings" of fruit and vegetables by cutting the products and arranging them on mats. Each image will then be transferred to a blender and transformed into smoothies that the children can take home. Alternatively, if someone prepares their landscape faster, they will have additional ingredients for making fruit skewers. This will allow them to fill the entire workshop and avoid idle waiting at the station.
