Do you ever wonder how the spatial conditions in your immediate area influence your daily routes? It seems that each of us has our favorite routes and shortcuts, and we use cities and neighborhoods based on our habits, but in reality, it's the architecture and infrastructure that influence our choices for a specific route to work or home.

At Plac Grunwaldzki OD NOWA, we want to learn about your habits as residents of the estate. Whether you live, work, visit, or study here, each of you uses Grunwaldzki's spaces in your own way, and we want to hear how you do it! Join us in a conversation about where you can be found most often on the estate, which neighborhood spaces you visit less often, and where, in your opinion, the heart of the estate beats!

April is the perfect time for outdoor research activities!

Together with the working group from #ZIELONYplacGRUNWALDZKI, we're heading out to the neighborhood to ask you about your Grunwald trails. On May 14th, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, we'll be at two research sites:

  • at the intersection of Grunwaldzka, Ładna and Górnickiego streets (a stone's throw from the ground-based anti-aircraft defense shelter),
  • at the playground located near Łukasiewicza and Smoluchowskiego streets.

Can a downtown neighborhood truly be resilient to climate change? What role do its residents play in creating urban resilience? As part of the "Civic Workshop – Green Plac Grunwaldzki OD NOWA" project, we are examining Wrocław's Plac Grunwaldzki neighborhood through the lens of sustainable development and the challenges climate change poses for the local community—both living standards and the user experience. The final outcome of this process will be a project proposal for the Wrocław Participatory Budget in 2023, along with a social campaign that will encourage Wrocław residents to vote for the green project in Grunwald.
