We're kicking off the second season at Polna Droga 2! The SKATEPARK '22 event will kick off on June 2nd and will include a series of open sports workshops for children and youth, every Tuesday and Thursday until the end of August from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Each week, Świdnica youth will have the opportunity to meet enthusiasts of sports such as skateboarding, rollerblading, scootering, roller skating, cycling, and street art.
Our primary goal with this initiative is to reach Świdnica residents aged 7-18, including those we met at the skatepark last year. We want to invite them to spend time together actively outdoors, learn or improve their skills in specific disciplines, and encourage them to care for their surroundings.
This year will be even more intense – we meet twice a week, on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, for workshops with instructors who will share their passion and skills, adapting the classes to the group's level. For the safety and comfort of participants, space is limited. All classes are free. Classes are weather dependent. In the event of rain/unfavorable forecast, or if the skatepark area is wet after rain, classes will be rescheduled. We will announce this on our Summer in the Backyard fanpage.
