On December 11-12, 2023, members of our Foundation: Maria Zięba, Beata Kuzera, and Marta Sobala, as part of the Solidarity Corps program of the National Institute of Freedom, went on a study visit to several institutions operating in Krakow. The purpose of the visit was to meet with the local volunteer coordinators and learn about their approach to running the volunteer program.

Maria, Beata, and Marta visited the Association of Local Creative Centers, responsible for organizing the Slot ART Festival, and the Ukryta Skrzydła Foundation, which, like us, is active in local communities, running a Mobile School. In Nowa Huta, they visited ARTzone, part of the CK Norwid Cultural Center, where the educators spoke about the youth volunteering program.

They began the second day of their visit at the Krakow Museum of Photography, where they met with Ania, the Museum's Youth Council advisor. They also visited Fine Space, where they exchanged experiences in intercultural integration. Their final stop in Krakow was the Youth Workshop in Kozłówka.

Winter Krakow was a very welcoming and inspiring place for us. We met wonderful people and were inspired by the spaces, and the time passed in interesting conversations about finding common values and encouraging joint action. It was a very fruitful visit!

Thank you for the warm welcome!
