For us, Plac Grunwaldzki is the heart of Wrocław, and Wrocław is the heart of Lower Silesia. Our region is a magical place, and we strongly encourage you to explore it—especially if you don't normally have the opportunity to organize a community outing. Seniors are the most common group, and they often ask us for a tourist and team-building trip to better understand the Lower Silesian heritage.

Before this year's Christmas, we have a special invitation for seniors from the Plac Grunwaldzki housing estate. On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, we will take a one-day tourist trip to one of the most important places in Lower Silesia. We will visit the third-largest castle in Poland, the Magic of Christmas exhibition at Książ Castle, and the Palm House in Wałbrzych. The bus and the tour route will be adapted to the needs of people with limited mobility. Travel costs, entrance tickets, and meals will be covered by the project organizers.

Registration for the trip is required – by phone at 71 757 15 87 or in person at our Center, Plac Grunwaldzki OD NOWA ul. Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie 63a, 1st floor until Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 12:00 to 17:00.

The goal of the trip was to promote the region's tourist attractions, which are important for local identity, and to encourage seniors to actively spend their time in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. Thanks to the trip, participants will be able to learn about the history and tourist attractions of Lower Silesia.
Priority for admission was given to residents of the Plac Grunwaldzkiego housing estate aged 65 and over. Beneficiaries of the Municipal Social Welfare Centre, who are at risk of social exclusion, were also invited.
The trip is organized by Fundacja Ładne Historie thanks to funding from the Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.
