Intercultural University of the Third Age

Greetings from Świdnica, where we have the great pleasure of implementing the "Intercultural University of the Third Age" project. It operates as part of the New Relations program and aims to integrate people from Ukraine (and beyond) with refugee experiences. Together with our incredible partner, the Świdnica University of the Third Age, we invite you to get to know each other, collaborate, and discover the city!

What do we do?

 

  • we meet regularly at the Intercultural Cafe for coffee, tea and something sweet;
  • we visit cultural places together, take part in workshops, events and concerts;
  • we are working in workshops to create a subjective map of the city;
  • we spend time together getting to know each other, our stories and inspiring each other;
  • Through conversations we learn our native languages.

 

We cordially invite everyone interested. We especially welcome people aged 50+, but really, everyone is welcome!

The program is implemented by Society of Creative Initiatives "ę"„. The program is financed by HelpAge International from the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. The program partner is Polish Migration Forum.

 

Вітаємо зі Свідниці, де ми маємо велике задоволення реалізувати проект "Міжкультурний університет третього віку". Він діє в рамках програми "Нові відносини" і передбачає дії на користь інтеграції людей з України (і не тільки) з досвідом біженців. Разом знеймовірним партнером, яким є Свідницький університет третього віку, ми запрошуємо до спільного вивчення один одного, співпраці та відкриття міста.

Що ми робимо?

 

  • regular consumption of coffee, чаєм та чимось солодким;-разом відвідуємо місця культури, beremo участь у майстер-classes, подіях та концертах;
  • працюємо майстерно над створенням суб'єктивної карти міста;
  • проводимо час, знайомлячись один з одним, нашими історіями та взаємно надихаючись;
  • через розмови вивчаємо свої рідні мови.

 

Sincerely welcome to all of you ???? Personally, I sincerely welcome people over 50+, but it's true кожен є вітаємим!
