As you probably already know, we've been collaborating with the National Institute of Freedom for some time now as part of the Solidarity Corps program. This is the source from which we received funding for our volunteer initiatives. So, if you're one of our volunteers, have an idea, or want to do something for others, just contact us and we'll get started!
In 2023, we managed to implement four such initiatives:

- „"The mountains connected them"”
This initiative was the brainchild of Angelika, our wonderful volunteer associated with the "Łączą nas gór" project. A women's trip to the mountains was organized – the Lucky Horses Association headquarters was chosen as the location.. The trip was attended by women who met while hiking in the mountains and were united by a shared passion, but also a desire to give of themselves to others.
The project included:
- relaxation workshops,
- a joint trip to the mountains,
- Regular shifts have been established for volunteers to help in the association.
Participants had the opportunity to meet people working at the Lucky Horses Association, the animals in the Association's care, and themselves.

- „"Breakfast for volunteers and volunteer coordinators"”
Natalia, our volunteer involved in organizing activities for children and youth in Świdnica, decided to organize a meeting with our help for Świdnica volunteers and volunteer coordinators. Representatives of the city authorities, including Świdnica Mayor Beata Moskal-Słaniewska, also attended. The main goal was to foster integration among Świdnica volunteers and develop plans for joint activities for the coming year.

- „"Intercultural Breakfast – Open Heart"”
Wiesław, who is normally associated with the University of the Third Age and, for us, a volunteer working as part of the Summer in the Backyard program, decided to organize an intercultural gathering, attended by seniors from the University of the Third Age, their families, friends, members of the Intercultural University of the Third Age, their families, friends, as well as city officials and familiar non-governmental organizations from Świdnica and the surrounding area. The main goal was to integrate, reflect on the past year, strengthen interpersonal bonds, and establish plans for the coming year. There were songs, carols, well wishes, laughter, joy, and happiness.
